Moody Gardens
Moody Gardens is a family friendly wonder located on Galveston Island, Texas. It's focus is on wildlife conservation and education for all ages and strives to provide employment to those with disabilities. Much of the wildlife there are rescue subjects, for example, there is a sea turtle who's hind flippers were left paralyzed from an attack. While I was there I visited the aquarium, rainforest pyramid, DaVinci exhibit, trail of holiday lights, and Ice Land (a temporary exhibit of extraordinary ice sculptures). There is even a nice restaurant, 3D movie theatre, ice skating rink and gift shops to check out. My personal favorites are the aquarium and rainforest displayed in the following photos.
